Nurturing the Mother through her season of transformation

When is it safe to receive postpartum massage?
Cass follows the 40 day confinement principles You can receive this work as early as 3 days postpartum for vaginal births, when you are ready and comfortable. Light adaptable massage in the early weeks. Cass adapts the session with your natural recovery process
For cesarean birth, abdominal work is adapted until your incision has begun to heal usually from 6 weeks, or clearance from your medical provider before 6 weeks.
Can I breastfeed during the session?
Absolutely. Your baby can feed at any time.
The massage is fully adaptable to feeding positions.
What if my baby cries or needs me?
Your baby is always welcome.
The session naturally weaves around your baby’s needs - feeding, holding, settling or sleeping.
There is no pressure to “stay still” or “relax perfectly.”
Do I need to tidy my home or prepare anything special?
No. Your home does not need to be clean or presentable.
Just create a ‘queen sized bed’ space on the floor where you feel comfortable to receive the massage, and Cass will bring everything else.
Please prepare 3 bed pillows or side lying pregnancy pillows that Cass can use to bolster around you.
